Lot 3 - Inniskillin Wine Selection

There are some exceptionally groovy goodies in this list - terrific last minute presents for a friend, loved one, family member, or just treat yourself! We’ll get to the list of auction items shortly, but first…

Some simple rules:

1. The HoHoTO Hangover auction runs between 8:00pm and 11:00pm EST, Tuesday December 22, 2009
2. Each auction lot (listed below) will be announced in turn through the @hohoto Twitter account;
3. We’ll be rolling through two lots per 30-minute bidding session;
4. Individual bidding slot times are included in the lot descriptions, below - please take careful note of the slot time for each auction lot you want to bid on;
5. At the end of exactly 30 minutes, timed locally by your hoHOTo crew, bidding will close and highest bids will be tallied;
6. Bids should be made by public tweet in the format: @hohoto, lot number or brief description, bid amount, #hohoto (the hashtag is to make it easier for people to follow all bids through a simple search);
We’ll contact each winning bidder and arrange for payment and collection of your prize (yes, we’ll need you to collect them - remember, the goal here is zero expenses, if possible. More money for the food bank);
Opening minimum bid on all items starts at $20. No maximum;
7. Any items not bid on by the end of their alloted 30 minutes may be withdrawn and repurposed for other charitable ends.

Last time around we also allowed for private bids (by DM).  Only a tiny number of people chose to go this route and, frankly, it was a stupid amount of effort to manage. So this time it’s public bids only, please. More fun that way, anyway - you get to see who you’re bidding against.
